Bridget Washington ("Bridget") is a drawbridge alert companion for Apple Maps users in the cities it supports (currently Seattle). This policy is short and plain because Bridget collects almost nothing.
Your location — a one-time reading when you plan a route, and continuously only while a planned trip is active. The app uses location to:
When the route plan ends — you arrive, you clear it, or you deviate from it — Bridget stops collecting location.
We do not collect: contacts, calendar, photos, motion data, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, network info, or anything else.
Nowhere. All processing happens on your iPhone. Bridget has no servers, sends nothing to the cloud, and uses no third-party SDKs — no analytics, no crash reporters, no advertising.
The only network calls Bridget makes are to Apple's MapKit (for route planning and traffic data). Apple's privacy policy governs those calls; Bridget does not see or store the responses beyond computing whether a bridge ahead is backing up traffic.
Bridget is free. If you choose to leave a tip to support development, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Bridget never sees or stores your payment information, and a tip unlocks nothing — the whole app is available without it. Apple's privacy policy governs the transaction.
Bridget is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Substantive changes will be announced in the app before taking effect.
